Paths include the Deep Creek Trail, which passes waterfalls. Cataloochee Ski Area has slopes and trails. The Wheels Through Time Museum has vintage motorcycles and rare cars. Blocks painted with vivid quilt patterns dot barns and buildings along the Haywood County Quilt Trails. It's only 35 miles west of downtown Asheville.
